Washington Defeats Fresno State Women's Tennis Team 8-1

FRESNO, Calif. - No. 25 Fresno State's women's tennis team was defeated by No. 23 University of Washington today 8-1. With this loss Fresno State falls to 2-5.
The University of Washington swept the singles matches and won two out of the three doubles matches. Fresno State was able to win a doubles match on court No. 2, Renee Kops-Jones and Kim Niggemeyer defeated Ilona Kordonskaya and Zuzana Stunova 8-3.
Fresno State returns to action tomorrow where they will face No. 34 Washington State at 10 a.m. The Bulldogs return to the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center on Saturday, March 4 at 11 a.m. to host UTEP.
