Women's Tennis Falls to Stanford 5-1

FRESNO, Calif. - The top-ranked Stanford women's tennis team improved its record to 7-0 while No. 25 Fresno State falls to 0-2 today at the Taube Family Tennis Center. The Cardinal clinched the match in singles before rain forced the cancellation of all three doubles matches.
No. 92 Liesl Fichtbauer (Jr., Hamburg, Germany) was the only Bulldog with a win at No. 3 when she defeated No. 75 Teryn Ashley.
The Bulldogs return to action Thu., Feb. 17 when they travel to Tulane.
