Bulldog Swimming Times Rank in College Quick 50

FRESNO, Calif. - Bulldog junior from Foothill Ranch, Calif., Summir Case ranks among the nations 50 fastest swimmers in the 100 back with her WAC preliminary time of 55.99. Her time ranks 35th across the nation according to the College Quick 50 rankings.
On February 25, 2000, Case earned a spot in the final race of the WAC Championships in the 100 back with her time of 55.99. A time that would help her to a first place finish, a WAC championship title and All-WAC honors.
Case was voted by her teammates and coaches as the Bulldogs' 2000 Swimmer of the Year with her 20 top-three finishes, new school record and WAC Championship achievements.
Case is not alone, her Bulldog teammates (including Case) legging the 200 free relay and 400 free relay also earned top 50 nationally recognized times.
The 200 free relay (Heidi Crompton, Lena Darnell, Summir Case, Jesie Lewis) rank 50th in the College Quick 50 rankings with their 1:35.62 time earned at the WAC Championship meet last month and the 400 free relay (Lewis, Crompton, Darnell, Case) rank 47th in the nation according to the College Quick 50 with the 3:28.23 time earned at the WAC Championships.
