Men's Basketball Student Ticket Applications Due Friday

FRESNO, Calif. - Student ticket applications for the 2001-02 men's basketball season are due Friday to the Fresno State Athletics Ticket Office.
Student ticket applications are available in the ticket office, open weekdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and located at the south entrance to Bulldog Stadium. The applications must be returned in person.
In football news, less than 500 tickets remain for Fresno State's game with Boise State on Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN and locally by KFRE WB 59 (cable 5).
Student tickets for the BSU game will be available for pickup Oct. 15.
The rush for tickets has also affected the Rice game Nov. 3. There are only 700 remaining for the Bulldogs' game with the Owls, slated to begin at 4 p.m.
Fresno State has sold out each of its first two home games, setting stadium attendance records on each occasion. The Bulldogs have won 17 consecutive home games, tied for the nation's longest home winning streak with Nebraska.
FS's next game is Oct. 13 at Colorado State. The game is at 7 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN2.
