Fresno State Volleyball Announces 2001 Summer Camps

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State volleyball has announced its camps for the upcoming 2001 summer season. Under the direction of head coach Lindy Vivas, with assistance from Ruth Lawanson, Ben Kubik and the women's team as well as the men's club team, the camps will provide instruction for boy's and girl's from the ages of 9-18.
Held on campus in the North Gym, five camps are slated for the month of July. The girl's and boy's camp will be held July 23-26, the hitter's clinic will be held July 21, the defensive clinic will be held July 22 and the team camp will be held July 27-29. All camps and clinics will be open to the general public.
Each athlete, who will be divided according to age, skill development and position, attending the girl's or boy's camp will receive a free T-shirt, Mikasa volleyball, videotaping and analysis of skills.
Athletes attending either the hitter's and/or defensive clinic will be divided according to age, skill development and position and will also receive a free camp T-shirt and lunch.
The Bulldog team camp is designed for high school varsity teams. Each athlete attending this clinic will receive a free camp T-shirt and instruction.
