Cabada Earns WAC Cross Country Athlete of the Week

FRESNO, Calif.- After leading the pack for the third straight meet, Fernando Cabada, was awarded WAC Athlete of the Week.
Cabada, a junior from Clovis, Calif., placed 14th at the Stanford Invitational with a season-best 8K time of 24:16.
He helped his team to a 15th place finish at the invitational which featured over 46 teams and 230 runners.
Cabada finished ahead of Chico State's Chris Eggers, the winner of the Fresno State Invitational just two weeks prior.
