FRESNO, Calif. - Q: If I could describe myself in one word on the court it would be: Focused. I'm able to turn on and turn off a focus switch that enables me to concentrate on one play at a time and block out any outside situation that takes me away from the game. Being focused also allows me to enjoy the game and play at a higher level.
Q: If I could describe myself in one word off the court it would be: Energetic. Everything in life requires energy. I love to think, feel and make use of all my senses to the fullest. I am energetic outside of sport and possess a passion for the smaller things in life.
Q: Talents that I possess other than athletic are: Ability to love, listen, write what I feel, translate what other people feel and see. I also have a great memory and knowledge of music.
Q: When I was in elementary school I wanted to be: A marine biologist living over seas.
Q: Now that I'm in college, the one wish I have is: Either visit or live in a tropical setting, preferably the South Pacific.
Q: In 20 years I see myself: Happy.
Q: If I could be a director of a movie, TV sitcom or theatre play, I would direct a story line about: Life through an old man or woman's life of the 20th century.
Q: One of the proudest moments in my life is: A personal decision I made in my late teens which changed my life forever.
Q: If I were an elementary school teacher, I would stress the importance of: Listening and trying.
Q: Others might think it crazy or unobtainable, but I could do one thing it would be: To own my own tropical island and have a plumeria (flower) plantation.
