No. 17 Women's Tennis Takes Down San Diego

FRESNO, Calif. - The Bulldogs had another sucessful home match today at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center, winning all of their sets. In doubles, Simone Jardim and Kim Niggemeyer, the No. 5 duo in the nation, took down Anne Rapp and Catherine Heppel 8-1. At the No. 2 spot, Chloe Carlotti and Lucia Tallo defeated Tara Livesay and Paola Arrangoiz 8-2 while Chantel Wiggins and Courtney Jantz beat out Anne Seppi and Lauren Kazarian 8-2.
In singles, Niggemeyer defeated Arrangoiz 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 1 position. Chloe Carlotti beat Tara Livesay also with a 6-1, 6-1 finish. Simone Jardim took down Catherine Heppel 6-4, 6-0. In court four, Tallo finished against Anne Rapp 6-2, 6-3. Chantel Wiggins quickly defeated Anne Seppi 6-0, 6-0 and Ewa Grusiecka defeated Lauren Kazarian 6-2, 6-3.
The Bulldogs next match is also at home on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
