Men's Soccer to Hold Community Seminar

FRESNO, Calif. - As part of the Bulldog's ongoing S.C.O.R.E. program, head coach Dave Chesler and assistant coach Mario Sanchez will hold a seminar to discuss the preparations for college athletics. The seminar is open to all athletes, parents and coaches, but is recommended for student-athletes ages 14-17.

Among the topics that will be covered in the seminar are the opportunities for a soccer athlete and an athlete's role in selecting a college program by Chesler. Coach Sanchez will go over the demands and expectations of a college student-athlete. There will also be a special NCAA rules and initial eligibility for student-athletes discussion coducted by Fresno State Assistant Athletics Director/Compliance Jamie Mullen.
