DALLAS - Fresno State's week-long road trip continues Thursday night against SMU. The Bulldogs (11-3, 4-1 WAC) - who are receiving votes in both national polls - had their five-game winning streak snapped Monday with an 88-77 loss at Hawai'i.
The Mustangs (6-7, 1-2 WAC) won their most recent game 79-72 at San Jose State, breaking their two-game skid.
Thursday's contest is just the fifth game Fresno State has played on the road.
The Bulldogs lead the all-time series 6-2, including victories in the last four. Both of Fresno State's losses to SMU came during the 1999-00 season.
Trip Rundown - Day 4
Where are the Bulldogs today? Dallas, Texas
What's on tap for tomorrow? Following a shootaround at 9 a.m. PST, the Bulldogs are off their feet until taking on SMU at 5 p.m. PST.
What's newsworthy? The Bulldogs have traded in their t-shirts, shorts and sandals for heavy jackets and sweatpants. The temperature in Dallas never climbed higher than 45 degrees today, meaning it was exactly 40 degrees cooler than when the team left Honolulu late Monday night.
