Ashleigh Raley Leads Diving Contingent At Bruin Invitational

PASADENA, Calif.- Fresno State freshman Ashleigh Raley earned a third place finish in the women's one-meter preliminary on Saturday afternoon at the Bruin Invitational, recording a score of 224.65.
Raley also placed fourth in the women's one-meter finals, garnering 459.85 points. Stanford's Ashlee Rosenthal captured first place honors in the event with a 504.50 score.
Fresno State sophomore McKenzie Elston and freshman Amanda Hooper both missed the cut in the one-meter. Elston checked in with a score of 201.60, while Hooper notched a 138.35.
In the women's platform, Raley and Elston also failed to make the cut.
This was just the second competition of the season for the Bulldog diving squad, which will square off against Oregon State on Sat., Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. in its next meet.
