International Soccer Comes to Bulldog Stadium

FRESNO, Calif. - Marquez Brothers International, Inc. has announced an international soccer match to benefit the Fresno State men's soccer program and the Valley Soccer Foundation. The match will feature Mexico's most popular club team, Las Chivas de Guadalajara and the two-time defending champions of El Salvador, Club Deportivo FAS on Wednesday, July 16, at Bulldog Stadium. The match is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
"It is an honor for Marquez Brothers to present "Copa El Mexicano" featuring Las Chivas, one of the top teams in Mexican league soccer, and Club Deportivo FAS, a fan favorite of Salvadorans,"Jamie Marquez, Vice President of Marquez Brothers International said. "More importantly, it gives us great pride to contribute to the soccer program at Fresno State. The future of our youth is a priority and it is our goal to rally the community of Fresno to support this valiant cause."

Advance ticket prices start at $20. Tickets are on sale at the Fresno State box office and traditional ticket outlets including DeCisco Sports. General admission tickets for children under 10 are FREE when presenting a proof-of-purchase of any "El Mexicano" product the day of the game at the stadium box office. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
