Golf Tied For Ninth After Second Round At Washington

SEATTLE, Wash.- After the second round of the Opus Northwest Husky Invitational, Fresno State is tied for ninth out of the 10-team field with a 758 (383-375). Washington is in first with 731 (365-366), while Oregon State has grabbed second with a 740 (373-367).
Individually, senior Chad Spencer, 149 (73-76) and junior Ryan Carter, 149 (76-73) is tied for 20th. Senior Jeremy Moreno is tied for 34th with a 153 (76-77), sophomore Mark Modglin is tied for 42nd with a 154 (79-75), sophomore Dusty Diedrich is tied for 52nd with a 157 (83-74) and freshman Daniel Buell tied for 55th with a 160 (79-81).
"This golf course is very tough," head coach Mike Watney said. "We want to try and play harder and go into the Fresno State-Lexus Classic with a good start."
