Golf Finishes Eighth At Husky Invitational

SEATTLE, Wash.- After the final round of the Opus Northwest Husky Invitational, the Bulldogs finished eighth out of the 10-team field with a 1124 (383-375-366). Washington captured first with a 1087 (365-366-356), while San Diego State garnered second place honors with a 1108 (372-373-363).
Individually, playing with a six-man squad, senior Chad Spencer with a 221 (73-76-72) and junior Ryan Carter with a 221 (76-73-72), tied for 13th. Sophomore Mark Modglin tied for 29th with a 226 (79-75-72), senior Jeremy Moreno tied for 38th with a 228 (76-77-75), sophomore Dusty Diedrich tied for 47th with a 232 (83-74-75) and freshman Daniel Buell tied for 59th with a 238 (79-81-78).
The 'Dogs' next action will be when they host the Fresno State-Lexus Classic, Fri.-Sat., Oct. 10-11 at Belmont Country Club.
