FRESNO, Calif. - KFRE WB 59 (Comcast cable 5) will broadcast Fresno State's men's basketball game on Feb. 19 at 4 p.m. at the Save Mart Center. The Bulldogs will play Buffalo in the third annual Bracket Buster game.
ESPN Regional Television is producing the game. The game is not only available on KFRE throughout the Central Valley but also nationwide on ESPN's Full Court package.
Fresno State is one of five WAC schools participating in a Bracket Buster game televised on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPN Regional. It marks the second year in a row the Bulldogs will be playing their Bracket Buster game on ESPN Regional TV.
Fresno State's first Bracket Buster game, in 2003 against 17th-ranked Creighton, was televised on ESPN2.
Bracket Buster Saturday was created three years ago as a partnership between ESPN, the WAC and several other top college basketball conferences in an attempt to match potential NCAA Tournament hopefuls against each other. All 10 WAC teams will be involved in this year's event. ESPN and ESPN2 will present six games while five more will be televised and distributed in the markets of the competing teams.
