Fresno State Finishes Seventh At Lexus Invitational

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State (295-296-293-884) (+20) maintained its seventh place position after the completion of the Lexus Invitational in Naples, Fla. Saint Mary's (290-283-272-845) claimed the team title at 19-under, followed by Baylor (287-284-276-847) at 17-under.
Ryan Carter (73-68-71) led the Bulldogs as he finished tied for fifth with 212 at four-under. This is Carter's highest finish since the Nevada Wolf Pack Classic, where he finished tied for fourth.
Jon Rosa (68-77-73) tied for 17th at two-over for a 218 total. Ryan McDonald (78-75-72) finished in a tie for 33rd place as he shot a nine-over 225. Jason Anthony (76-77) carded a third-round 77 to finish 14-over and tied for 40th place (230). Mark Modglin (78-76-77), one stroke behind at 231, ended in a tie for 43rd at 15-over.
Liam Kendregan of Saint Mary's won the individual title at eight-under (208).
Fresno State next competes at the Western Intercollegiate hosted by San Jose State March 28-29.
