FRESNO, Calif. - Through two rounds of the U.S. Intercollegiate hosted by Stanford at the par-70 Stanford Golf Course, Fresno State (284-288-572) stands in second place in the 18-team field. USC is 10 strokes ahead of the Bulldogs with 562.
Pacing the Bulldogs, Ryan McDonald (72-68-140) is in sixth place heading into tomorrow's final round after shooting even par. Ryan Carter (70-73-143), in a tie for 16th, shot 3-over-par. Mark Modglin (69-75-144) stands in a tie for 19th place at 4-over-par. Jon Rosa is currently in a tie for 30th after shooting rounds of 73-74 to notch a 147 (+7). Jason Anthony (77-73) stands in a tie for 51st with a 150 total (+10).
Fresno State continues play Sunday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
