Men's Golf Takes Third Place At U.S. Intercollegiate

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State (284-288-295-867) (+27) recorded its highest finish of the season at Stanford's U.S. Intercollegiate in third place. USC claimed the team title in the 18-team field with rounds of 278-284-284 and an 846 total. San Diego State (288-291-284-863) came in second.
Ryan McDonald (72-68-75-215) led the team with a tie for ninth place at 5-over-par. Teammate Ryan Carter (+6) posted rounds of 70-73-73 good for a 216 total and tie for 12th place. Jon Rosa (73-74-73) finished in a tie for 29th with a 220 total at 10-over. Mark Modglin (69-75-77) ended in a tie for 34th at 11-over with 221. Jason Anthony (77-73-74) came in 49th after posting 224.
Fresno State next competes at the BYU Cougar Classic in Provo, Utah, April 22-23.
