I think the team is right where it should be at this time of the season. This team is very focused; they are seasoned and are ready for all challenges. Every person in the line up has stepped up and got it done. There is not pressure for one person to carry the team. Jamie has been very strong and has stepped up her game. Jamie pitched a solid game and you can't ask for more than that. We practice fundamental softball and we are executing very well.

I felt really comfortable today. I've been through the experience I have played in regionals. I just felt really comfortable. My teammates played great defense behind me like they have all year, which makes it easier for me.

I was just trying to see the ball and catch it out in front. Our batters had been getting jammed. I just opened up a little and caught the ball out in front. It is a great feeling to get the first two wins, we have worked hard and it is coming together.

For me, being a left handed batter the ball was away from me. I was thinking hands on top of the ball and it fell for me. We have all contributed this year all the way through the lineup so this is nothing new. Knowing that we are one game closer to where we want to be made me really concentrate and want to get it done for my team.

Give credit to Fresno State, they played a great game. Our team played hard and gave it what we had but we were beat. Our freshman pitcher pitched a great game, she missed on a couple of pitches and they hit them. I thought that Jamie was dominant through the whole game. Our team made adjustments in the later innings but she was still to good. Jamie had her good stuff through the whole game and we expected that out of her.

Jamie was hitting the corners and had us guessing. She seemed to make adjustments to the hitters and kept us off balance. She is one of the best pitchers we have faced. Fresno has a lot of fans and they are very vocal.

Jamie is definitely one of the better pitchers we have faced. She hit her spots and wasn't afraid to challenge us.
