The Series
Fresno State and Idaho are meeting for just the fourth time since the 1982-83 season. While the Bulldogs hold a 2-1 series advantage, they posted a 38-34 victory on Nov. 27, 1982 in Fresno, Calif. That contest was part of the Sun Met Classic, hosted by Fresno State.
Quickie Notes
Last week, Fresno State set a season-high mark and a new Save Mart Center record for 3-pointers against New Mexico State (14) ... In addition, the program picked up its 1,100th victory in its 83rd season as a varsity sport with its 75-72 victory over NMSU ... Quinton Hosley picked up his eighth 20-point game of the season when he recorded 23 versus the Aggies ... Ja'Vance Coleman notched his ninth 20-point performance of the season and 21st of his career last time out against Louisiana Tech ... He posted a career-high 29 points and, in the process, became the 44th Bulldog to tally 800 career points ... Two wins shy of his 150th win, head coach Steve Cleveland is the 11th first-year head coach at Fresno State to record 10 or more victories in his first season ... With four more wins, he would be the seventh Bulldog coach to win 14 or more games in inaugural season.
