LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The 47th-ranked Fresno State women's tennis team rolled to a 7-0 victory over Montana, Friday at the UNLV Rebel Classic in Las Vegas. The seventh-ranked doubles combination of seniors Lucia Sainz and Katharina Winterhalter continue to blow their opponents away, winning 8-2 Friday against Castello and Walker. At No. 1 singles, Melanie Gloria set the tone, defeating Liz Walker in straight sets. The Bulldogs won every singles match in two sets.
"We played very well today," said head coach Simon Thibodeau. "Tomorrow we'll have a tougher match, so we need to go out and play solid again."
