FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's team suffered a tough loss to No. 16 Baylor, falling 7-0 Thursday in Waco, Texas. The No. 39 Bulldogs are now 5-4 on the year and now head to Texas A&M for a dual match on Saturday. The squad also faces a touch TCU team on Sunday in Fort Worth.
"Today was a tough loss," said head coach Simon Thibodeau. "We really need to improve our consistency and bounce back against Texas A&M."
The Bulldogs failed to win a match against a very strong Baylor squad. The Bears have four women ranked in the top-100, including two in the top 20.
The Bulldogs return home when they play host William & Mary on Mar. 8 in the Wathen Tennis Center.
