FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State shot rounds of 300-306 on Monday at Texas' Morris Williams Invitational in Austin to head into the final round with a 606 total. The Bulldogs, currently in 16th place, are two strokes ahead of No. 17 Tulsa in a field that includes 10 top-25 teams.
Senior Brian Kelley's two-round total of 150 (76-74) led Fresno State, and he is tied for 56th. Seniors Ryan McDonald (73-79) and Jonny Rosa (74-78) both shot 152s and are tied for 66th. Senior Jason Anthony (T76th) carded rounds of 79-75 - 154, and freshman Matt Shaw (T83rd) registered 77-79 - 156.
No. 2 Oklahoma State has the team lead with a 10-under 566, 19th-ranked Texas Tech is in second with 572 (-4) and Oklahoma is in third with 573 (-3).
