| Sophomore Todd Angel has been named the Toyota/GoBulldogs.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of October 15. He is the first Bulldog golfer to receive the honor this year. Angel (63-70-69 - 202) took second place at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational to lead the Bulldogs finishing 11-under par. This was Angel's best finish making 15 birdies and one eagle throughout the three rounds. Angel started the tournament out strong shooting a 29 on the back nine of the first round, and played steady through the end. Angel finished just two strokes shy of the individual leader to lead the Bulldogs to a fourth place tie. Other student-athletes nominated were: Nicole Gutierrez (women's soccer), Angela Wiggins (volleyball), Roxanne Sellick (women's cross country), Erick Garcia (men's cross country), Danon Beatty (women's tennis), Lonyae Miller (football). 2007-08 Athletes of the Week:
