Basketball Ticket Plans Go On Sale Monday

FRESNO, Calif.- - As excitement builds for the upcoming Fresno State men's and women's basketball seasons, Bulldog fans once again have an opportunity to take advantage of great ticket options beginning Monday, October 8. The Fresno State ticket office has announced eight men's and five women's mini-ticket plans. Tickets can be purchased by logging onto gobulldogs.com or by calling (559) 278-3647.
The Fresno State men's team is coming off the programs second best season since 1984-85. The Bulldogs had a 22-10 record and had an impressive 15-3 record at home. Steve Cleveland's squad played in front of a WAC best 11,713 fans.
"We are excited about the upcoming season and we are looking to build off of last year's success," Cleveland said. "Having a great home crowd like we have at the Save Mart Center gives our team a home court advantage."
The men's 3-Pack offer gives fans an opportunity to buy tickets for the November 11 San Diego State and any other two games at a price of $42 for the middle section of the upper bowl, $30 for adult tickets and $21 for youth tickets in the end-zone of the upper bowl. This ticket plan must be purchased by Dec. 10.
Fresno State fans can purchase a four-game WAC Pack that includes tickets to any four WAC home games. Ticket prices are $56 for the middle section of the upper bowl, $40 for adult tickets in the end-zone of the upper bowl and $28 for youth tickets in the end-zone of the upper bowl. The last opportunity to purchase this ticket plan is December 21.
There is a six-game Saturday Kids Korner package that includes the Pacific, Idaho, San Jose State, the Bracketbuster game, New Mexico State and the Nevada game. If the plan is purchased by November 9, fans will receive a complimentary ticket to the Liberty game on November 10. Ticket prices are $60 for adults in the upper corner of the end-zone and $30 for youth.
Also available is the Great 8 Pack. Games include Pacific, Nevada and any other six games. Ticket prices are $96 for the middle section of the upper bowl and $80 for adult tickets and $56 for youth tickets in the end-zone of the upper bowl.
When Fresno State plays Presbyterian College on December 20, all tickets will be $ 5.
The Young Alumni Lucky Seven Pack allows the recent Bulldog graduates from 2004-07 to pick any seven games for $63 in the end zone of the upper bowl. The same package is available for the women's games. For ticket prices contact the Fresno State ticket office.
Anybody who purchased mini-plans last year can buy season tickets for this season at a discounted price. Adult tickets in the end-zone of the upper bowl are $153 and youth tickets are $126.
Fresno State is also hosing the World Vision Classic Presented by Pape November 9-11. The Bulldogs will face Portland, Liberty and San Diego State during the three days. Tickets for the tournament are $42 in the middle section of the upper bowl, $30 for adult tickets in the end zone of the upper bowl and $21 for youth tickets in end-zone.
On the women's side, there are two 3-game ticket plans that are available for $15 price. The first package is called 3-Pointer No. 1 and it includes the Nov. 10 game against Pac 10 foe Cal and any two other games. That package must be purchased by November 9.
The 3-Pointer No. 2 package includes the December 1 Utah game, a team that advanced to the Elite 8 two years ago, and any other two home games. Purchases for that plan must be made by November 30.
Fan can also purchase a WAC pack where the can buy tickets for any four WAC home games at a cost of $20. Weekend Kids' Korner includes a six-game package of Oklahoma State, Utah, Cal-State Bakersfield, Boise State and Utah State. If the package is purchased by November 9, fans will receive a complimentary ticket to the November 10 Cal game.
When the Bulldogs play host to Sacramento State on December 21, all tickets will be $2.
Fresno State women's coach Adrian Wiggins is looking forward to the upcoming season that gets underway with an exhibition game on November 4 against the Melbourne Roos. The Bulldogs have compiled an impressive 32-4 record at the Save Mart Center under Wiggins.
"Over the last five years our attendance has been in the top 20 percent in the country," Wiggins said. "That is a reflection on our fans and the Fresno community. We have a great home record at the Save Mart Center. That is in part to the support we get from our fans."

The Fresno State Men's and Women's Basketball teams will open the 2007-08 season at the Save Mart Center in a doubleheader of exhibition games. On Sunday, November 4 the women's team will play the Melbourne Roos at 2 p.m. followed by the men's team against Western Washington at 4 p.m. Single game tickets will go on sale at a later date.
