Men's Basketball Inks Freshman For Upcoming Season

Fresno, Calif. - Fresno State head men's basketball coach Steve Cleveland announced the signing of.freshman Nedeljko Golubovic, from Serbia, to join the team for the 2007-08 season.
Golubovic, who played at Findlay College Preparatory at the Henderson International School in Las Vegas, Nev. last season is originally from Serbia, and graduated in 2006. Golubovic will be eligible to play for the Bulldogs in the fall.
"He is a very versatile player, who can score inside and step outside and shoot the three," Cleveland said. "He will add depth and strength to our post players. He has a great upside and he is very strong academically."
Golubovic stands 6-8 and weighs around 230, the size the Bulldogs have been looking for to add inside. He averaged 14 points and nine rebounds per game last season at Prep School.
Golubovic joins USC transfer Kevin Galloway as two recruits Cleveland has signed for next season. Galloway will become eligible for Fresno State after the fall semester is complete and will have three year's of eligibility.
"We are extremely excited about next year's class. We are making a commitment to brining in young student-athletes and building for the future at Fresno State," Cleveland said.
