Ogle was co-founder and director of the National Athletic Fund Raisers Workshop from 1990-1993 and in 1995 he was appointed to the NCAA's Foundation's Development Advisory Council.
He was charter president of NAADD in 1993, and in 1996 was honored by NAADD as the Fund Raiser of the Year. Ogle has been inducted into both the College of Sequoias Hall of Fame and the Fresno State Track and Field Hall of Fame, and in 2002, was recognized for his service and dedication to the Fresno Athletic Hall of Fame where he has served as chair of the selection committee since 1985.
