The Bulldogs welcome a much-improved Idaho squad to the Save Mart Center Saturday night. Despite a 4-10 overall record, the Vandals have been giving teams fits this season. Their average loss margin is four points per game. Jordan Brooks leads the Vandals in scoring at nearly 12 points per game. Idaho's non-conference schedule included games against nationally-ranked Washington State, Gonzaga and Arizona State.
Against the Vandals
Although this series began in 1927, the two schools have met just seven times. The Dogs hold a 5-2 all-time lead in the series and are 3-1 in WAC games against the Vandals.
Around the WAC
A few eyebrows were raised Thursday night when Nevada, one of the WAC's premier programs over the last five years, lost at San Jose State 62-60. The Wolf Pack enter tonight's game at Hawaii 0-1 in the WAC and will be taking on a Warrior squad that sits at 1-1. In a battle of two of the three unbeaten WAC teams, New Mexico State beat Boise State 76-73 in Boise. The Aggies must now travel to Utah State, which has this week to prepare.
