Ignacio Signs Second Diver

FRESNO, Calif.- Nicholle Kohls (Vista, Calif.) is the newest addition to the 2009-2010 Fresno State women's swimming and diving team, after she signed a National Letter of Intent to compete under head diving coach Taryn Ignacio next season and attend school at Fresno State.
A member of the San Diego Tribune's All-Academic team for two seasons at Fallbrook High School, Kohls represented academic and athletic balance while earning varsity letters in swimming and diving as well as in girl's golf.
Kohls also earned MVP honors in diving for the 2006-07 season and earned second team All-Avocado placement for girl's golf in 2007.
"Nikki is a great addition to our team," said Ignacio. "She has the talent and potential to score big points at dual meets and at the WAC Championships."
"Join the State - Fresno State!" - The Fresno State swimming and diving team dives into action Friday-Saturday, Dec. 5-6, 2008, on the campus of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo at the Mustang Invitational.
