KFRE to Broadcast WAC Tournament Games

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State fans will be able to follow all the action of the Fresno State men's and women's basketball teams at the WAC tournament in Las Cruces, New Mexico thanks to the partnership with KFRE 59 and Bulldog Sports Properties.
"Bulldog Sports Properties, the broadcasting and sponsorship team of Fresno State Athletics, is thrilled provide Central and Northern California Bulldogs with the excitement of men's and women's WAC Basketball Tournament action," Bulldog Sports Properties General Manager Rob Stockhausen said. "Thanks to all of our Fresno State sponsors for making this a possibility. We know Coach Wiggins and Coach Cleveland and their student-athletes will make us proud. Enjoy the Madness, Red Wave!"
The men's first round game against Nevada on Thursday can be seen at 5 p.m. and if the Bulldogs win their quarterfinal match up Friday's semi-final game would start at 7:30 p.m.
The Bulldog women enter the WAC tournament as the No. 1 seed for the first time in school history. If they get by San Jose State or Idaho in the quarterfinal round, Friday's semi-final game can be seen on KFRE at 11 a.m. and Saturday's championship game is set to begin at Noon.
"We are proud to bring the WAC basketball Tourney broadcasts back to the Valley for all Bulldog fans to enjoy," Senior VP/General Manager of KFRE CW 59/KMPH Fox 26 Charlie Pfaff said. "Our coverage will begin Thursday with the men's team and if all goes well, on Friday we will carry the men's semifinal and women's semifinal game for Coach Wiggins and his team. Our commitment to the Dog's continues."
In addition, selected games can be seen on Comcast Sports Net Fan should check their local listings for which games will be seen.
