Behme Hires Lindsay Gotham as an Assistant

FRESNO, Calif.- - Fresno State lacrosse coach Sue Behme has announced the hiring of Lindsay Gotham as an assistant coach. Gotham is coming to Fresno State after serving as an assistant under Behme for two years at Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y. Gotham also played for Behme at Nazareth from 2001-05.
"Lindsay played for me for four years and was my assistant for two," Behme said. "She will primarily be a defensive assistant. She is a great role model, very positive and she has a ton of energy. Lindsay has a great coaching relationship with the student-athletes and is a great piece to the puzzle here."
During her two years as an assistant she assisted with administrative and coaching duties for the Division III program. She was also in charge of recruiting, fundraising, budgeting and making travel arrangements.
Gotham has a solid lacrosse credentials as she was an All-American player at Nazareth in 2005. She played on the North/South Senior All-Star game in 2005 and earned Empire Region All-American First Team honors in 2005 and Second Team accolades in 2003 and 2004. She also garnered First Team All-Conference honors from 2002-05 and she was named conference Rookie of the Year in 2002.
She prepped at Mynderse Academy from 1997-2001 where she was a three-year team captain and a two-time MVP.
