Bulldogs to Finish Non-Conference Play This Weekend

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State volleyball team wraps up non-conference play with the final tournament in pre-season at Cal State Bakersfield Friday-Saturday at the Icardo Center. Fresno State begins the tournament taking on Cal State Bakersfield Friday (Sept. 12) at 7 p.m.
The Bulldogs are continuing their stretch of nine-straight road matches as they head down Highway 99 to Cal State Bakersfield for the two-day tournament. At the CSUB tournament, Fresno State will face the host Roadrunners in the first match and then on day two take on Arizona and Chicago State. Cal State Bakersfield and Fresno State will meet for the second time in two weeks, this time in the Icardo Center. Fresno State won the first match of the year 3-2 in the season opener for both teams in the Fresno State Invitational. Since the first match, CSUB has finished second at the Shocker Classic in Wichita, Kans. They are now 3-4 on the season. Fresno State leads the overall series 10-2.
"Join the State - Fresno State!" - The Fresno State volleyball team heads to the Cal State Bakersfield tournament September 12-13. The Bulldogs will battle Cal State Bakersfield on Friday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, September 13 the `Dogs face Arizona at 12:00 p.m. and Chicago State at 4:30 p.m. The next home match is Saturday, September 27 against San Jose State in the WAC home opener.
