Team Fresno State and Tachi Palace Sign Partnership Agreement

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State Athletic Director Thomas Boeh announced today that Fresno State Athletics and Tachi Palace are partnering help build a stronger athletics program in the San Joaquin Valley.
The multi-year deal is the continuation of "Team Fresno State" and includes a $250,000 annual gift for a six- year period resulting in a $1.5 Million commitment to the Bulldog Foundation.
"Team Fresno State" represents San Joaquin Valley organizations that are building a stronger Valley through their support of the Bulldog Athletics.
"We are very excited about joining forces with Tachi Palace," Boeh said. "We are very appreciative that Tachi has assumed a key leadership role with the Team Fresno State program and this commitment will have a significant positive impact upon hundreds of Bulldog student-athletes in the years ahead. Our staff looks forward to working with General Manager Willie Barrios and the Santa Rosa Rancheria Tribal Council for our mutual advancement."
Through several strong regional partnerships, Fresno State will generate resources to elevate the athletic department to unprecedented heights, and this agreement with Tachi will result in increased visibility for the athletic department and the San Joaquin Region.
"Tachi Palace is thrilled to begin our relationship with Fresno State and is eager to enter into a multi-year agreement with the Bulldogs," said Jeff Bray, Tachi Palace Director of Marketing. "The Dogs have a rich tradition in athletics, and we look forward to enhancing Fresno State with our partnership for years to come."
Tachi Palace is based in Lemoore, Calif. The hotel and casino offers a full-service spa and many luxury amenities. The Tachi Yokut Indians have inhabited the San Joaquin Valley for centuries. In 1934, the Santa Rosa Rancheria was established on about 40 acres of desolate farmland in Lemoore, California.
