Swimming and Diving Head To The South Coast
Fresno State Aquatics will travel to sunny San Diego, Calif. Saturday, Jan. 31 to face the University of San Diego Toreros and the Loyola Marymount Lions in a double dual meet at 1 p.m. at the Sports Center Pool. The Bulldogs last met with host team University of San Diego in 2003 and Loyola Marymount in 2004 and earned wins over both opponents on the road, 126-111 and 131-127. This weekend's double dual meet is the first and only meeting between the Bulldogs, Lions and Toreros this season.
Scouting the Competition
University of San Diego is 0-4 following a close loss against UC San Diego on Jan. 17 and another loss at Northern Arizona on Jan. 24. Loyola Marymount enters the meet 2-5 after a loss to Northern Arizona Jan. 17. Fresno State is 0-7 after a battle of the Valley at Cal State Bakersfield Jan. 17, ending the meet 169-118. The `Dogs earned a slough of lifetime bests and top three finishes, including two individual event first place finishes.
"Join the State- Fresno State!"- The Bulldog swimming and diving team travels to the campus of University of San Diego Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009 at 1 p.m. in a southern California faceoff between the Toreros, Bulldogs and the Loyola Marymount Lions.
