Bulldogs Perform in Community

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State lacrosse team continues to make an impact in the community. In the last two weeks the Bulldogs participated in the Race for the Cure, did a lacrosse demonstrations for the East Fresno Men's Lions Club and participated in the Making Strides Walk.
During the 2008-09 academic year the Bulldogs were also instrumental in the community as they performed 484.50 hours of community service to people of the Central Valley.
In the Race for the Cure the Fresno State Athletics department was the 2009 Honorary Race Chair in recognition of their continued support of breast cancer awareness and education through programs such as their annual Pink Zone women's basketball game and Volleyball Breast Cancer Awareness Night. Coach Sue Behme represented the department at the event.
