FRESNO, Calif. - Head Coach Steve Cleveland enters his fifth year at the helm of his hometown Bulldogs and starts the regular season at home for the fourth consecutive year as Fresno State hosts San Francisco State on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs return six letterwinners and welcome seven newcomers to a talented roster poised with athleticism, dedication and size to make a run for the program's sixth appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

About the Gators
The San Francisco State Gators, a member of the Division II California Collegiate Athletic Association, is 2-1 on the season as the co-champions of the 2009 Disney Division II West Coast Tip-Off Classic. SF State junior guard Phoenix O'Rourke (San Mateo, California, Junipero Serra) was named to the 2009 Disney All-Tournament Team while averaging 10.7 points and 5.0 rebounds. Head Coach Bill Tressler is in his fifth season with the Gators and sports a 38-73 mark at the Northern California school He holds a 172-162 overall record in 12 seasons as a head collegiate coach.
Against the Gators
The overall series between Fresno State and San Francisco State is tied at 14-14. The schools most recent contest came during 1974-75 season when the Bulldogs defeated the Gators, 90-57. Fresno State has won the past four meetings with victories in nine of the last 11 contests. The schools first met during the 1931-32 season when Freson State swept a pair of games (33-18, 45-32) at San Francisco State.
BYU Game Moves to Fresno as Dogs Look to Conquer the Mountain
In a significant update to the Bulldog men's basketball home schedule, Fresno State will start a home-and-home series with 2009 NCAA Tournament team and three-time Mountain West Conference champion Brigham Young University on Dec. 12, 2009 at 7 p.m. in the Save Mart Center for the highlight of "Conquer the Mountain Saturday." Information will be sent to all season ticket holders, who can purchase their seats for this game as it is not included in any season ticket package. Public seats will go on sale Nov. 23. The game replaces a previously scheduled neutral-site game in Los Angeles on the same date. This marks the first time Fresno State will compete against BYU since the Cougars left the Western Athletic Conference to join the MWC in 1999.

With the Fresno State men's basketball team expected to breakout and compete for a WAC championship with exciting offensive sets and strong defensive pressure, Bulldog fans can see their Dogs fly and season ticket packages are available for every budget. The prime lower bowl seating can be purchased through the Bulldog Foundation at (559) 244-5600 or by visiting www.bulldogfoundation.org. Season tickets in the upper bowl of the pristine 15,596-seat Save Mart Center are also on sale now and can be purchased for $189 through the Bulldog Ticket Office at (559) 278-DOGS. All season ticket packages include a general admission ticket for the Dec. 1 home game at Selland Arena as the Dogs turn back the clock to honor legendary coach Boyd Grant.

There are seven, five and four game plans available. All seating for mini plans are in the lower level of the Save Mart Center. Mini plans can be purchased at the Bulldog Ticket Office by calling (559) 278-3647 or by logging onto www.gobulldogs.com.
The 7-Game "California Dream'n" Plan includes all of the regular season home games against teams from the Golden State. The Dogs take on SF State, San Diego State, USD, Pacific, San Jose Sate, CS Bakersfield and UC Davis. Please note: The game on Dec. 1 against Pacific is a general admission ticket at Selland Arena.
The 5-Game "Big Game" Plan includes the games against San Diego State, Nevada, and Utah State, then choose any other 2 home games.
The 4-Game "You Stay Classy" Plan includes games against the two teams from Ron Burgandy's favorite city: San Diego State on Nov. 23 and the University of San Diego on Dec. 6, then choose any other 2 home games.
