FRESNO, Calif. - For the second straight day Bulldog junior Jill Tebbe won MVP honors for Fresno State against a Top 5-ranked opponent.
Tebbe was one of five Bulldogs to earn wins against No. 5 South Carolina, in a 14-5 loss in Columbia, S.C.
The Bulldogs, ranked No. 10 in the nation, concluded the fall portion of their schedule. They will return to action in February when they host the Best in the West Invitational at the Student Horse Center.
Fresno State picked up three wins on the Flat, as Lanie Madrazo, Nicole Roworth and Jessica Kissell all earned wins. Kissell had the second-best score of the day with a 78 in her win over Kyla West.
Roworth, who also competed in Western Horsemanship, had a strong ride with a 76.
The other two wins for the Dogs came in reining, as Tebbe and Shawna McClurg earned wins. McClurg defeated Amanda Pope with 72 score.
Elizabeth Thomasian tied her opponent with a score of 72.
