- Fresno State's 32-point victory (69-37) today over San Diego is the Bulldogs' largest since Jan. 30, 2006, when the Bulldogs beat Idaho 89-54. Another 35-point victory came previously on March 5, 1998, when the Dogs beat the San Diego State Aztecs 92-57 in the 1998 WAC Tournament. Fresno State ended the 1997-98 season in the NIT Semifinals in Madison Square Garden.
- Sylvester Seay recorded his first double-double of the season (21 points, 10 rebounds).
- Seay has scored more than 20 points in the past three games. Last season, Seay topped the 20-point mark for five straight games from Feb. 14 to Feb. 28, 2009.
- This is the first time this season that the Bulldogs have: committed fewer turnovers than an opponent (11-16), had their bench score more than an opponent (24-23), held an opponent to under 19 percent shooting and had all 11 active players see action on the floor.
- Fresno State held San Diego to only 37 points after giving up an average of 68.2 points in the first six games. The last time the Bulldogs held an opponent to under 40 points was Dec. 12, 2007 against Presbyterian (39 points).
- Fresno State's 11 steals in today's contest marked the second time this season Fresno State forced more than 10 steals. The other time came on the road at Northern Arizona on Nov. 17, 2009 (13 steals).
