         2008-09 (Junior): Over the course of the season, emerged as the Bulldogs'        primary threat from the low post with ability to also knock down shots from all over the        floor ... appeared in 34 games with 31 starts ... earned second-team All-WAC honors ... led        team with 15.3 points and 1.7 blocks, grabbed 5.8 rebounds per game while shooting 46        percent from the field ... recorded a team-high 521 points ... swatted the tenth-most        blocks (58) in a single season by a Bulldog ... soared to a career-high with 32 points on        the road at Utah State on Jan. 15, 2009 ... recorded three double-doubles ... scored 20 or        more points in five consecutive games (Feb. 14 to Feb. 28, 2009) ... hit a 60-foot        buzzer-beating 3-pointer to send the `Dogs home date with the first-place Utah State Aggies        into overtime on Jan. 31, 2009 ... on the season, finished third in the WAC in blocked        shots (58), fifth in the WAC in blocks per game (1.71), sixth in the WAC in field goals        (177), seventh in the WAC in points scored (521), eighth in the WAC in points per game        (15.3) and tenth in the WAC in 3-point field goals made (50) ... in WAC contests, averaged        the third-highest scoring clip with 17.4 points and added 6.9 rebounds per game while        shooting 45.1 percent on field goal attempts... in the final WAC-only regular season        rankings, finished second in the WAC in points scored (279), third in the WAC in scoring        (17.4), fourth in the WAC field goals made (93), blocked shots (29) and blocks per game        (1.81), sixth in the WAC in rebounds (110), defensive rebounds (76), rebounds per game        (6.9) and defensive rebounds per game (4.75), seventh in the WAC in 3-pointers made (29)        and 3-pointers made per game (1.81), and ninth in the WAC in minutes played (541), minutes        played per game (33.81), offensive rebounds (34) and offensive rebounds per game        (2.13).
2007-08 (Redshirt): Sat out the season as a NCAA Division I transfer from Arizona State University.
Arizona State University
         2005-07 (Freshman/Sophomore) Showed flashes of being a top Pac-10 talent        in his first year after he made the adjustment from prep school to Division I ... he scored        21 points versus Oregon in his first season in a Arizona State uniform, the first time in        ASU history two freshmen have scored 20 points in the same game ... he is known as a player        who could be a sleeper in the recruiting world as he attended prep school before going to        Arizona State ... turned heads at the Reebok ABCD Camp in 2004, as Clark Francis had him        rated as the 35th-best player at the camp, and Francis also had Seay as the ninth-best        power forward ... Sylvester's uncle, Mark Seay, played for the San Diego Chargers (1993-95)        and the Philadelphia Eagles (1996-97) and caught 135 passes for 1,629 yards and 10        touchdowns in his five-year NFL career and played college football at Long Beach State ...        started 11 games in his freshman season and had 13 blocks ... in his freshman season he        averaged 7.2 points and 17.6 minutes in the final 13 games ... played a season-high 30        minutes vs. Oregon on Feb. 11 and had 21 points, five boards, three blocks and three steals        and was 8-of-13 (.615) from the floor ... averaged seven points and 16.7 minutes in final        nine games ... 11 points in 22 minutes at USC on Feb. 4 ... had eight points and seven        boards in first career start vs. Stanford on Jan. 21 ... came off the bench on Jan. 19 vs.        California and had 13 points in 22 minutes on 5-of-7 shooting.
Prep School: Averaged 15 points and eight boards per game at traditional prep school powerhouse Winchendon School in Massachusetts last year ... averaged 21 points, 10 boards and four assists at Lawrence Academy in Groton, Mass ... also competed in football in high school and was recruited as a wide receiver.
