FRESNO, Calif. -- Freshman swimmer Heidi Gjoen (Oslo, Norway) went the distance in the 500 yard freestyle preliminaries as junior diver Kendra Weeks captured a point for the Bulldogs day two of the WAC Championships at the Palo Alto Natatorium in San Antonio.
"We had a great morning session," said head coach Jeanne Fleck. "Everyone did lifetime best times."

In addition, the `Dogs qualified for the 200 freestyle relay finals. Sophomore Stephanie Hatayama was right on her season best time in the 50 freestyle preliminary event and finished 25.11.
