Bulldogs Travel to Oregon

FRESNO, Calif.- The Fresno State women's lacrosse team returns to the field on Friday, March 6 when it plays at the University of Oregon at 7 p.m. The Bulldog's don't return to Bulldog Stadium until April 4 when Saint Mary's visits Fresno.
Scouting Oregon
Oregon is 2-2 and led by the play of Alex Breiner's seven goals and three assists. Catherine Davidson also has seven goals on the season. The Ducks are averaging nine goals a game.
A Season of Firsts
- Molly Sovacool won the first ever draw control to open Saturday's game against Cal.
- Diana Aguilar had the first ever save for a goalie on a shot taken by Alyse Kennedy a minute into the game.
- The first Fresno State shot was taken by Heather Jack at the 27:59 mark of the first half.
- The first Fresno State substiution was Christina Cabias six minutes into the first half.
- The attendance for the first ever lacrosse home game was 928.
- Heather Jack scored the Bulldogs first-ever goal against Stanford with 4:21 left in the game.
- For the first time this season the Bulldogs scored more than one goal in a game against UC Davis.
The Week That Was
The Bulldog women's lacrosse team played its best half of the season in the second half of Saturday's game at UC Davis where the Bulldogs scored two goals and held the Aggies to only four goals. Despite the 15-3 loss, Saturday was the first time the Bulldogs have scored more than one goal in a game. Five different players have scored goals for Fresno State on the season.
Game Time Changed
Fresno State's April 11th contest at Howard will be played at 7 a.m. Pacific Time and not 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
Making Saves
Fresno State goalie Diana Aguilar is second in the MPSF in saves-per-game at 6.5 a contest.
