Hi Bulldog fans!
I am enjoying the beautiful city of Madrid as well as many others. This past week I have been traveling to other destinations throughout Spain. My first trip was to Toledo.
Toledo is a city that is primarily surrounded by the Tagus river. This magical place on the hill use to be Spain´s Capital. It is most famous however for being the "City of Three Cultures" where Muslims, Catholics, and Jews lived in harmony. It is such a holy place and to my surprise this is where the expression "Holy Toledo!" originated from.
My favorite part of this trip was being able to see the famous Cathedral of Toledo. It is absolutely breathtaking. The construction began in 1226 and lasted for three centuries! The detail of this Gothic Cathedral is so beautiful. Every inch within its walls expresses its own character and emotion. I wish you all could have experienced it with me because words cannot simply do it justice.
