FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's soccer team scored their third goal of the season against the Pacific Tigers. Claudia Cardenas recorded her second goal of the season as the Tigers beat the Bulldogs, 3-1, Friday night. The `Dogs are 1-6 this season.

The Tigers got on the board first with a goal from Marciela Padilla in the third minute of the game. Angelica Figueroa and Laura Hogan recorded the assists on the play.

Cardenas answered in the 11th minute with the Bulldogs lone goal. She got a shot on goal that hit the back of the net after Callie Hancock's previous shot was deflected. Hancock earned the assist on the play.

The `Dogs entered the half time break tied with Pacific, 1-1.

The Tigers answered in the second half with two goals both from Figueroa.

Junior Kaitlyn Revel recorded five saves on the night. She has 227 career saves and needs 14 more saves to tie for second place in Fresno State history.

The Bulldogs got five shots off on the Tiger goalkeeper, Jill Medigovich. Cardenas and Laura Dodd led the team with two shots each. Pacific recorded 20 shots against Fresno State.

The Bulldogs wrap up their weekend road trip on Sunday, Sept. 20 against UC Davis.
