Jan. 2, 2010
- Fresno State's 71-68 victory over Boise State, that included a 10-point Bulldog comeback for the largest of the season and the most since a 62-58 win over Hawai'i in the 2009 WAC Tournament, marked the 71st in the Save Mart Center history and moved the Dogs into a three-way tie for first-place in the WAC with Louisiana Tech and the winner of the Idaho-Hawai'i game.
- Sophomore Paul George scored 21 points, his tenth career game with at least 20 points and fourth this season. He tied a career-high with 12 free throw attempts and converted 11 of 12 (92%) shots from the charity stripe. George lifted the Bulldogs with two old-fashioned three-point plays in the final minute of the game with two lay-ups that were each followed with a successful free throw.
- Sophomore Mychal Ladd led the team with four 3-pointers and registered a seven for 12 clip from the field. He tied a career-high with three steals, including a momentum shifting swipe with 1:03 to play in the game that eventually led to George's lay-up that gave the Bulldogs their first lead since midway through the first half.
- Senior Sylvester Seay added 14 points for his 12th consecutive game in double figures. He went a perfect four for four from the free throw line including two clutch free throws with less than four minutes to play.
- Fresno State outscored Boise State 44-33 in the second half and outshot the Broncos 55.2 percent to 44.4 percent in the final 20 minutes.
- The Bulldogs owned the paint with a 34-22 edge and grabbed two more rebounds than the Broncos, 31-29.
- Fresno State's starting five scored 70 of the Bulldogs' 71 points.
- An inspired and loud crowd of 7,983, the third largest of the season, gave an extra jolt to the Save Mart Center. The next opportunity to watch Dogs fly is next Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 at 7 p.m.
