Fresno State Faces No. 50 UNLV

FRESNO, Calif. - No. 41 Fresno State faced No. 50 UNLV on Friday, for the first of a two matches in Las Vegas, Nev., this weekend, with the Rebels coming away with a 6-1 victory.
Fresno State's Julia Gragera-Cano picked up her first win of her college career, in super-tiebreaker fashion. The freshman from Badajoz, Spain, came back, after dropping the first set, 4-6, to win the next two sets. Gragera won the super-tiebreaker set, 10-6, to come away with the victory.
"It was nice to see Julia get her first singles win as a Bulldog," Fresno State head coach Simon Thibodeau said. "(As a whole), we will remain positive and step it up in terms of mental toughness and physically."
The Bulldogs will face No. 39 Texas A&M on Saturday at 10 a.m.
