Bulldogs Host UC Davis on Senior Day

FRESNO, Calif.- Fresno State plays its final home game on Friday at 3:30 when it plays host to UC Davis in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation action.
UC Davis is 2-2 in MPSF action and 9-4 overall. Gina Hoffmire leads UC Davis in scoring with 41 goals while Molly Lapolla has scored 28 goals and dished out a team-best 16 assists. UC Davis is averaging 14.09 goals a game.
Diana Aguilar Plays Final Home Game
Senior Diana Aguilar will be honored before the start of Friday's home game against UC Davis. Aguilar, the team's only departing senior is one of the pioneer's of the Fresno State lacrosse program as she was the starting goal-keeper last year. Last year she played in all 14 games and started 12. Aguilar is from Keyes, Calif., and is majoring in criminology.
Youngsters Leading the Way
The duo of freshmen Amanda Cross and Margaret Wolford have been tough to stop, Cross has a team-best 24 points on 20 goals and four assists while Wolford has nine goals and four assists. Cross is second on the team in ground balls won with 20 while freshman Taylor Fiehler has a team-best 24 ground balls. Overall, freshman have combined to tally 62 of the Bulldogs 83 points.
Bulldogs in the MPSF Stat Leaders
Amanda Cross ranks 10th in the conference in shots per game at 4.18 while Krisdina Gehring is second in the conference in caused turnovers at 2.00. Katie Wilbur is third in saves per game at 7.45. As a team, the Bulldogs are fourth in the MPSF in caused turnovers at 10.18.
