Dogs End Season Against No. 15 Stanford

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State lacrosse team played No. 15 Stanford in the first round of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament at the University of Denver on Thursday afternoon. The Bulldogs lost 16-1 to the Cardinal, last year's MPSF champion, on a cold afternoon with a temperature in the mid 30's.
Margaret Wolford scored the team's goal in the first half off a pass from Sara Weber. Diana Aguilar played the entire game and recorded 16 saves. Wolford finished the year with 10 goals and four assists.
Diana Aguilar had a team-best four ground balls while Amanda Cross and Krisdina Gehring each had three. Aguilar caused three turnovers while Cross and Weber each caused two.
"We Are Your Team"- The Fresno State athletic department will be holding a yard sale Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Blue Lot by Bulldog Stadium. Everything on sale will be $25 or less.
