Seven Dogs Named to MPSF Academic Team

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State lacrosse team had seven student-athletes that were named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team. Of the seven named to the academic team, four earned honors for the second straight year in Jennifer Smith, Kasandra Martinson, Krisdina Gehring and Amira Ferrell.
"These individuals have worked hard in the classroom and have exemplified what it means to be a student-athlete at Fresno State," Fresno State coach Sue Behme said.
Also named to the team was Jennifer Rose, Michelle Rose and Heather Jack.
To be named to the team the student-athlete had to have a 3.0 or better grade point average, be a sophomore academically, completed one full year at Fresno State prior to the season and competed in 50 percent or more of the team's competition.
