FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State senior goalkeeper Diana Aguilar was named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Tournament team. Aguilar collected a career-high 16 saves against Stanford in the first round. The 16 saves was also a school record for most-saves in a game.
Aguilar is a senior who was one of the pioneers of the Bulldog lacrosse program as she was a member on the inaugural team.
"Diana has represented Fresno State in an exceptional manner," Fresno State coach Sue Behme said. "We are grateful for the foundation she has set and her example. She made some tremendous saves against a nationally ranked team. She is deserving of this honor."
"We Are Your Team!" - The Bulldog Foundation has launched the "Drive to Five," a membership campaign with a goal to increase the number of Bulldog Foundation members from 2,800 to 5,000 by September of 2011. Please help us reach this goal by spreading the word to your family, friends, and other Bulldog fans in the community. Memberships start at only $100 and payment plans are available. Increasing the Bulldog Foundation membership to 5,000 members will provide new resources that will directly benefit Fresno State Athletics and all 450 student-athletes.
