Smith and Martinson Garner Academic Honors

FRESNO, Calif. - Jennifer Smith and Kasandra Martinson were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association 2010 Academic Honor Roll. It is the second straight year Smith has earned the honor.
Overall, there were 151 student-athletes from 62 different institutions that were named to the honor roll squad. All student-athletes were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least a junior in status academically.
Smith is a Health Science-Community Health major while Martinson is majoring in Child Development.
"We are extremely proud of these two student-athletes for receiving this honor," Fresno State coach Sue Behme said. "They have been tireless workers in the classroom who represent what it means to be a Fresno State student. Along with Jenni and Kasandra I am once again extremely pleased with the work our entire team has done in the classroom."
